Common questions

Tapping a place does nothing

Desty hands the destination to a map app. If no map app is installed, there is nothing to open. Install Google Maps, or add an address to the place so any map app can find it.

My places disappeared after reinstalling

Desty mirrors your list to your own iCloud so it comes back. That only works if the device is signed in to iCloud and Settings → iCloud sync was on before you deleted the app. If it was off, restore from a file you exported instead.

How do I move places in from another app?

Two ways, both under the Import button on the main screen: share a single place into Desty from your map app's share sheet, or import a saved list you exported from your Google account. Each imported file becomes one group.

Desty is not in the share sheet

Swipe the app row sideways and tap More, then enable Desty. Desty only appears for links and text — not for photos.

Can I change the language?

Yes. Settings → Language. Desty follows your device language by default and ships English, 한국어, 日本語, and 中文.

Does Desty need my location?

Only if you tap Use current location while saving a place. You can decline the permission and use everything else.

How do I back up or move to a new phone?

Settings → Export writes every place to a file you can keep or send anywhere. Settings → Import reads it back.

목적지를 탭해도 아무 일이 없습니다

Desty는 목적지를 지도 앱에 넘깁니다. 지도 앱이 설치되어 있지 않으면 열 것이 없습니다. Google 지도를 설치하시거나, 목적지에 주소를 넣어 다른 지도 앱도 찾을 수 있게 해주세요.

앱을 다시 설치했더니 저장한 곳이 없습니다

Desty는 목록을 사용자 본인의 iCloud에 함께 보관해 다시 돌아오게 합니다. 다만 기기가 iCloud에 로그인되어 있고, 앱을 지우기 전에 설정 → iCloud 동기화가 켜져 있었어야 합니다. 꺼져 있었다면 내보내둔 파일로 복원해 주세요.

다른 앱에 저장해둔 장소를 옮기려면?

메인 화면의 가져오기 버튼에 두 가지 방법이 있습니다. 지도 앱 공유시트에서 장소 하나를 Desty로 보내거나, Google 계정에서 내보낸 저장 목록을 통째로 가져오면 됩니다. 파일 하나가 그룹 하나가 됩니다.

공유시트에 Desty가 안 보입니다

앱 목록을 옆으로 넘겨 더 보기를 눌러 Desty를 켜주세요. Desty는 링크와 텍스트에만 나타나고 사진에는 나타나지 않습니다.

언어를 바꿀 수 있나요?

설정 → 언어에서 바꿉니다. 기본은 기기 언어를 따르고, 한국어·English·日本語·中文을 지원합니다.

위치 권한이 꼭 필요한가요?

장소를 저장하면서 현재 위치 사용을 누를 때만 필요합니다. 거부하셔도 나머지 기능은 모두 쓰실 수 있습니다.

백업하거나 새 기기로 옮기려면?

설정 → 내보내기로 모든 목적지를 파일로 저장하고, 설정 → 가져오기로 다시 읽어옵니다.
