Privacy Policy — Desty

Desty is a list of places you keep on your own phone. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of ours. This policy describes that plainly.

What Desty stores

The places you save — a name, an address or place name, optional coordinates, an optional note, and an optional group — are stored on your device. Desty also stores two settings: your chosen language, and whether the iCloud mirror described below is switched on.

iCloud

So that your list survives deleting and reinstalling the app, Desty mirrors it to your own iCloud key-value storage. That storage belongs to your Apple Account. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy, and the developer of Desty cannot read it. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → iCloud sync. Turning it off also removes the copy Desty put there.

Location

If you tap Use current location while saving a place, Desty asks iOS for your current coordinates once and stores them with that place, on your device. Location is not used at any other time, is not tracked in the background, and is never transmitted anywhere. You can decline the location permission and still use every other part of the app.

Network

Desty makes one kind of network request. When you share a shortened map link into Desty, Desty follows that link to find out which place it points to. That request goes to the service that issued the link — for a Google Maps short link, to Google — and is subject to that service's privacy policy. Nothing about you is attached to the request beyond what your device normally sends. Opening directions hands the destination to your map app, which then operates under its own privacy policy.

Advertising SDK

The Google Mobile Ads SDK is present in the app binary, but on iOS it is never initialized: no ads are requested, no ad identifiers are read, and no data is sent to it. It is linked only because the same source code also builds the Android version.

Children

Desty is rated 4+ and contains no content unsuitable for children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. If the iCloud mirror is on, switch it off in Settings before deleting the app to remove the iCloud copy as well. You can also export your places to a file from Settings → Export at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above.

Desty는 자주 가는 장소를 사용자 기기 안에 보관하는 앱입니다. 계정도, 로그인도, 우리 쪽 서버도 없습니다.

Desty가 저장하는 것

저장한 목적지 — 이름, 주소 또는 장소 이름, 선택적 좌표, 선택적 메모, 선택적 그룹 — 는 사용자의 기기에 저장됩니다. 설정 두 가지도 함께 저장합니다. 선택한 언어, 그리고 아래 iCloud 미러링의 사용 여부입니다.

Desty가 하지 않는 것

iCloud

앱을 지웠다 다시 설치해도 목록이 돌아오도록, Desty는 목록을 사용자 본인의 iCloud key-value 저장소에 함께 보관합니다. 이 저장소는 사용자의 Apple 계정에 속하며 Apple의 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다. Desty 개발자는 그 내용을 볼 수 없습니다. 설정 → iCloud 동기화에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다. 끄면 Desty가 그곳에 넣어 둔 사본도 함께 삭제됩니다.

위치

장소를 저장하면서 현재 위치 사용을 누르면, Desty는 iOS에 현재 좌표를 한 번 요청해 그 장소와 함께 기기에 저장합니다. 그 외의 경우에는 위치를 사용하지 않고, 백그라운드에서 추적하지 않으며, 어디로도 전송하지 않습니다. 위치 권한을 거부해도 나머지 기능은 모두 사용할 수 있습니다.

네트워크

Desty가 보내는 네트워크 요청은 한 종류뿐입니다. 단축된 지도 링크를 Desty로 공유하면, 그 링크가 어떤 장소를 가리키는지 확인하기 위해 링크를 따라갑니다. 이 요청은 해당 링크를 발급한 서비스로 가며(Google 지도 단축 링크라면 Google로) 그 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다. 기기가 통상적으로 보내는 것 외에 사용자에 관한 정보는 붙지 않습니다. 길찾기를 열면 목적지가 지도 앱으로 전달되며, 그 뒤로는 해당 앱의 처리방침이 적용됩니다.

광고 SDK

Google Mobile Ads SDK가 앱 바이너리에 포함되어 있지만 iOS에서는 초기화되지 않습니다. 광고를 요청하지 않고, 광고 식별자를 읽지 않으며, 해당 SDK로 데이터를 보내지 않습니다. 같은 소스 코드가 Android 버전도 만들기 때문에 링크만 되어 있는 것입니다.

아동

Desty는 4+ 등급이며 아동에게 부적합한 내용이 없습니다. 연령과 무관하게 어떤 정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

데이터 삭제

앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 내용이 모두 지워집니다. iCloud 동기화를 켜 두셨다면, iCloud 사본까지 지우려면 앱을 삭제하기 전에 설정에서 먼저 꺼 주세요. 설정 → 내보내기로 언제든 파일로 내보낼 수도 있습니다.

변경

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 주소에 새 버전을 게시하고 위의 날짜를 갱신합니다.
